Community SERVICES

What We Provide

Fresh Organic Produce

The Need
Social and economic challenges revealed an inadequate social safety net for those in need.  Food insecurity, among the underserved populations, has been a critical issue in our community, with fresh produce being one of the categories most lacking.

What We Provide
All the produce harvested at our farm is donated to local food banks and distributed to individuals and families in need, free of charge.  We grow food to nourish our community and educate them about regenerative agricultural practices.

Community-Building Through Volunteerism

The Need
Connection has been shown to be one of the key components to longevity.  Yet, one of the challenges the pandemic heightened was an already weakened bond among people and a increased level of isolation. In addition, there is a need for opportunities to learn how to grow what we eat in a sustainable way.

What We Provide
Volunteering at our farm fosters a spirit of connection and collaboration.  Volunteers gain hands-on experience in regenerative farming while learning to respect and care for the earth. Our programs provide opportunities to engage with the community, develop valuable skills, and find a sense of purpose and fulfillment. We invite everyone to volunteer and learn about sustainable farming—from seed to harvest —empowering them to recreate these practices in their own yards.

Wellness and Mindfulness Programs

The Need
With growing levels of stress and anxiety, the health implications are significant.

The long-term activation of the stress response system can disrupt our body’s natural immune system, making us more susceptible to illness and harder to recover.  Providing people with mindfulness practices and techniques to help them reduce stress levels will not only make them feel better right now, but will aid in health long-term.

What We Provide
Our farm is a space for cultivating holistic well-being.  We offer free classes that nurture physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness. Mindfulness practices can lead us to a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit our emotional well-being and overall health. Visitors can connect with nature, participate in educational programs and experience the benefits of mindful living.
