Our Projects
Phase 1: Creating a Functioning Farm
In August 2024, we achieved a key milestone by purchasing the property at 12713 Hensel Road, Huntley, IL, to establish Hongik ECO Farm. This 10.59-acre property is the foundation for our vision of cultivating “Harvest”, “Healing” & “Humanity”.

Phase 1 focuses on transforming the property into a fully functioning farm including, a community garden, student garden, planting food forests and more. Environmental Commitment. Hongik ECO Farm is dedicated to fostering harmony with the land and ensuring that our practices leave no negative environmental impact.
As part of this commitment, we are:
- Restoring native habitats to support local biodiversity.
- Designing infrastructure that minimizes our carbon footprint.
- Integrating sustainable building and operational practices to ensure energy efficiency.
- Powering farm operations with solar energy, reflecting our commitment to renewable resources and responsible energy use.
Should we encounter signs of prior environmental degradation, we are committed to transforming the property into a thriving organic haven, showcasing the potential for ecological renewal.
