September Harvest Update
Hongik Eco Farm September 2025 Harvest Update
Our first harvest season has been a HUGE success! September had the farm bursting at the seams with tomatoes, peppers, cilantro, kale and swiss chard! Our total produce harvested for August was 4,463. So far this year, we have donated over 8,000 items of produce. Most of our produce is being donated to the Harvard Food Pantry who has expressed immense gratitude as our donations are able to help over 600 families experiencing food insecurity. In addition to the Harvard Food Pantry, we were also able to make a donation to the Grafton Food Pantry. September produce included zucchini, swiss chard, kale, several varieties of lettuce, cilantro, tomatoes, tomatillo, white red and green onions and many varieties of peppers. Our sweet peppers finally ripened and were a big hit! The butternut squash is looking quite plentiful and we look forward to all the yummy soup recipes that will be pulled out once we deliver these delicious fall delicacies.
For those that would like to help us with our vision of restoring our topsoil, helping global warming through regenerative farming and providing organic produce to families in need please consider becoming a Cultivator by donating time, money or services.
