Community Gardens

The Community Garden is an oasis that is more than vegetables and flowers. It is an opportunity to foster vibrant communities through a collective effort.  

Just as a community farm attracts volunteers to tend a shared plot of land, the HongIk Eco Farm solicits volunteers for our regenerative farm. Valuable lessons on soil health and protecting our environment are taught, giving volunteers valuable tools and information they can take back and apply in their respective neighborhoods.  

At the Hongik Eco Farm, it is our vision to engage local schools, senior centers and the community at large to create a haven where people can feel a sense of connection, purpose and contribution and youth can develop leadership skills while learning how to care for the Earth.
